Accessibility Statement
ABH Federal LLC is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for users with disabilities, including federal procurement officers and agency end-users who rely on assistive technology. We continuously improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance target
This website is designed to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA and the Revised Section 508 Standards (36 CFR Part 1194) applicable to information and communication technology procured by federal agencies.
Audit method
Every release is audited with @axe-core/playwright against the homepage and capability-statement route at both desktop (1440×900) and mobile (390×844) viewports, with reduced-motion enabled to capture final-state contrast. The audit suite asserts the wcag2a, wcag2aa, wcag21a, wcag21aa rule tags. The build does not ship if any route returns violations.
Specific design decisions
- Color contrast: USMC scarlet (#BA0C2F) is reserved for graphical elements (button backgrounds, hairlines, status indicators). For text ≥24px on dark backgrounds where scarlet is used, an AA-compliant variant (#D2143A, 3.55:1) is substituted.
- Motion: every GSAP/Lenis animation honors
prefers-reduced-motionand renders the static final state. - Keyboard navigation: all interactive elements (links, buttons, form controls) are reachable and operable with a keyboard alone.
- Screen reader semantics: each section uses
aria-labelledbyoraria-labeltied to a visible heading. Decorative imagery usesalt=""witharia-hidden="true". - Print + PDF: the capability statement is available as a PDF rendered from the same source as the screen route, preserving heading structure and tab order for assistive technology.
Known limitations
This site is reviewed against WCAG 2.1 AA. WCAG 2.2 AA conformance (which adds 9 new success criteria) is planned for the next audit cycle. Any gaps discovered between releases are tracked publicly in the project issue list.
